好久沒寫網誌了，更新一下剛剛看見的新聞。

在"Spartacus: Blood and Sand"中飾演Spartacus的Andy Whitfield，
年初診斷出罹患癌症，本來預期可以在第二季開拍前結束療程，
但現在看起來似乎趕不及，因此Andy Whitfield將會退出第二季的戲份。

以下是他的公關聲明稿

Andy Whitfield, star of Starz’s “Spartacus: Blood and Sand,” has been advised
by his doctors to immediately resume aggressive treatment for a recurrence of cancer,
as a result of which he will not be returning for the series’ second season,
which was tentatively set to air in September 2011.

“It’s with a deep sense of disappointment that I must step aside from
such an exceptional project as Spartacus‚ and all the wonderful people involved.
It seems that it is time for myself and my family to embark on another extraordinary journey.
Thank you sincerely for the support so far,” said Whitfield.

於是接受其醫生的建議，立即投入更進一步療程。
已就是說他將無法重回第二季的拍攝現場，第二季暫定2011年9月播出。

Whitfield表示：
「這真的很讓人沮喪。當我知道必須退出Spartacus的拍攝，以及離開這個團隊時。
是時候讓我自己與家人一同踏上另一趟截然不同旅程的時候了。
謝謝大家一直以來的誠摯關心與支持。」


這真的是很可惜。這齣戲對Andy Whitfield本是很好打開知名度的機會。
不知道第二季會找誰帶打？山姆沃辛頓？我覺得他們兩長得很像 XDD
只是這樣若是還有第三季，Andy Whitfield還有機會回到劇組取回他的腳色嗎？
